Has anyone watched the David Lynch version of Dune?.I've heard it's pretty different from the book, whereas this version is said to adhere much more closely to it.

Yes, I have. That version is a horrible adaptation.

I have not seen it in a long time. The old movie has actors I like but it doesnt sound like it has aged well.

I saw it about six months ago. It's very dated, like a low budget early 80s sci-fi. But it's decent to watch before you see the new Dune, especially if you don't want to or haven't read the book. Having knowledge of the story before you see the new Dune will allow you to understand and appreciate the film better because it's a really deep sci-fi story.

They apparently read a script from Dune.

I'm going to get my ass kicked by the Star Wars fandom. LOL Maybe by some of them, but it's hilarious, so I definitely don't do that! And you know, I love both.

Warner Brothers has been issuing Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)s to fan accounts posting images of the logo. They aren't messing around, they have locked some accounts. My twitter and IG has had the images removed.

Apparently Warner Brothers is telling people to remove it and stop posting it. LOL! Good luck with that!

I saw it on websites before it was removed and it got me excited. I have to see more images though to compare with my imagination. Let's hope for a teaser soon. I think Timothee at the Oscars is a very good sign that promotion is about to start. I notice the Oscars will often have presenters for upcoming movies. Gal Gadot, for example, has Wonder Woman sequel this year.

Hi Everyone! I’m new here and am a fellow fan of academy award nominee Timothee Chalamet! I’m so excited for Dune! This will be his biggest movie and role yet and I hope it’s successful. I’m a little worried it won’t do well at the box office but am hoping WB knows what their doing! I started listening to the audio book but it was too complicated for me lol! Deniss is one of my favorite directors working today so I truly cannot wait! How does everyone else feel?
