I am so looking forward to "Dune" and love the great cast being assembled especially Timothee Chalamet. The reason why I started this thread is I think this "Dune" movie and possible sequels is the type of science-fiction film and property that may spark great interest in fandom to warrant cast appearances at multiple conventions in 2020 and 2021. Everyone knows San Diego Comic-Con, but it is so darn hard to get tickets that I think fans have to convince other convention organizers that Timothee Chalamet and the other stars are worth inviting for panel questions and answers, autographs, and photo ops. For example, I emailed Creation Entertainment because they host many different fandom conventions some of which I have attended like "Once Upon a Time." They responded that they love "Dune" and will pass my recommendation onto their management. Anyways, if others here are interested and want to see Timothee Chalamet be invited in person ... and I have a strong feeling he would accept based on his anazing outgoing personality with fans ... please also email Creation Entertainment at guests@creationent.com or other convention organizers like New York Comic Con and Wizard World and tell them your interest in "Dune" and Timothee Chalamet. And who knows ....the more people who contact them the the more convention organizers will think they should organize some special conventions or cast appearances for new "Dune" fans. I hope we get multiple movies from this series. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share my love for Timothee Chalamet with other fans.

Thank you so much for creating this thread. I think you're right in that Dune will be demanded at a variety of Comic fan conventions. The San Diego Comic Con is a beast and I admit, I'm intimidated by it, but that one is definitely a go for Dune.

Thanks for the positive comment! Oh I agree too that if nothing else Dune will most likely be at San Diego Comic Con. I have signed up just like your other thread says for the chance to buy 2020 tickets. But I know securing tickets is extremely difficult. I think they always sell out within an hour. Let's hope we have some luck this year. That's why I prayvthe cast does multiple conventions for promotion among the science fiction community because it will be much easier I think for us fans to get tickets and more likely more fans will see Timothee Chalamet and others in person.

Awesome, I'm glad you heeded my advice about registering a Member ID with Comic Con so that you can have a chance to "try to buy" a badge for CC2020. I look forward to whatever updates you can provide on other conventions. Thanks again!

I'd love it he was at the NY Comic Con for Dune. I'd definitely try to go.

I think I should find a similar convention in Europe (Britain, France or Germany, the latter seems a possibility).
