He looks fantastic - perfect for the young Wonka. I think he fits with Gene Wilder really well.

Actually, I haven't been interested in Wonka. Till these pics. They're awesome! Yes, these pictures are a nice icebreaker to get people interested in Timmy's Wonka. But I really don't want to see anymore from the set because it's too damn spoilery. Some fans simply can't help themselves, they are obsessed with anything and everything Timmy Chalamet.

Actually, I haven't been interested in Wonka. Till these pics. They're awesome! I agree! I recently have seen both the Wilder and Depp versions. And while I liked the Wilder version better, I didn't love either of them. These pics/videos have definitely increased my interest. I assume they are letting people near filming as they want some PR early on in the filming process. And it has definitely worked. I imagine as filming progresses, they'll do more indoors and we won't see anything else. That is fine. These early glimpses are enough for me.

I am a big Charles Dickens, Victorian England and Christmas fan! I just like the period in British history not to live in but for storytelling. Because Timothees costume evokes certain images in my mind, I am now very excited to see his portrayal of Wonka. I can't tell though yet if the story is set in the 1800s or 1900s. It would be cool if Christmas is involved somehow. I thought I saw snow on a lampost on the set.
And please watch the youtube video of Timothee riding a truck as he is singing. I am impressed with his vocals so far. Can he read some audio books in the future, because it would make me feel better? Or then again maybe he should not as I would fall asleep in the car?! Timothee continues to work with amazing crew and cast which is why he is the King of Hollywood in my opinion or at least one of its Dukes. Wonka looks like no exception despite some minor trepidation and worries on my part about the films potential success.

So it looks like he'll be filming Wonka until at least Dec 21. I wonder if it'll wrap up then or continue into early 2022?

I hope the man gets some holiday time with family in Manhattan or Paris. I'm surprised about the amount of on location filming. I thought it would be more studio based.

With his birthday and Christmas at the end of December, I will be very surprised if they don't wrap up before then. They have been doing pre-production dancing/singing rehearsals and taping since August. Timmy will need to be free by January to be available for awards season for Dune.
