This was inevitable, especially as Covid numbers are rising again. I'm sure Timmy is fine, but this is a tight filming schedule and these delays will be costly.

I'm so sorry you had to cancel your trip Simone. Everyone has to determine what comfort levels they are for socializing and traveling. I'm ok doing everything normal now that I'm vaccinated including with the booster. I'm sure the Wonka cast and crew are ok as filming has some of the strictest protocols of any industry. But I think breakthrough cases are so common right now with plenty more ahead. I'm just happy that this holiday season at least for me is turning out to be so much better than the sad, depressing and lonely one last year. I pray the same for all of you!

I wish I could watch Timothee and company film in Oxford. I have been to Cambridge but not Oxford. I hope to visit one day! And I just love the actress Olivia Colman. She shares some interesting thoughts in the below article about Wonka which perked me up. She says it's a Christmas family film. As someone who just loves the Christmas season and decorations, I would very like to have another film and this time starring Timothee to watch annually to get me in the holiday mood. I hope Wonka is that film!
