Charles Dance for an emperor is good! Charles Dance for you know what kind of emperor maybe not. I'm not sure I want to see CD as Shaddam. I'll be thinking about it.

Wasn't Charles Dance in Game of Thrones, which, like Star Wars, was inspired by Dune? I think that's cutting too close, he's too high profile and connected to GoT for Dune.
But, otherwise, he could be a popular lure to Dune Part 2.

Charles Dance was one of my favorite parts of Game of Thrones as Lord Tywin Lannister. He has this incredible commanding voice and presence that put the fear of God into you. The casting for House Corrino will be fascinating. I have many ideas in my imagination, but I can see Charles as THE Emperor. It is probably a minor role, but maybe the movie will expand it. I do think we should get some good scenes with Princess Irulan.
I know Timothee and film twitter is waiting to see who plays Feyd Rautha and will go bananas whoever is announced. I do think it should be someone very good looking but can give off some devious vibes. Even though House Harkonnen is evil, I think Feyd should give us some shades of grey where we cant help but like him. That's my interpretation of the book character.

Wow, much quicker than I anticipated! I wonder whether Timothee takes a well deserved break and vacation between January and July or finds another project. There will also likely be Dune Oscar promotions. I dont think his next work is 4000 Miles, which based on Dune 2 filming and what we already know is end of 2022 or first half of 2023. I'm sure we will hear a plethora of cool Dune 2 casting announcements in the winter.

I'm not sure when Wonka ends filming but if I had to put money on it I bet they are done by the holidays. I base my speculation on when filming started and that it is a musical shoot and not a Dune type shoot.

Wow, much quicker than I anticipated! I was surprised about the date too. Denis Villeneuve mentioned the date of shooting part2 and it was in the fall of 2022, but it's much earlier. |
