The future of Club Chalamet Forums

Hello all,

For those of you who have been with the Club Chalamet forums since the beginning, I greatly appreciate your support and checking in here every once in a while. However, due to the dynamics of the fandom, it's obvious that a messageboard format is not something people are interested in participating in. I think messageboards are kind of 'old school' and I have much more engagement on Instagram. So with that said, my focus on this messageboard will completely shift to give much more attention to Instagram, and how to develop my followers there.

I know some members here do not have other forms of social media, and that's ok, and that's why the forums will still remain, but I will just check in once in a while to provide maintenance and of course post updates for historical reference of Timothée's career. I repeat, this messageboard community is not being deactivated, it will just serve as a secondary reference source of historical information on Timmy's career.

If you are so inclined to create a social media profile, may I suggest you create one on Instagram where you can follow Club Chalamet there and be kept in the loop on things Timmy. My work life, other interests, travel, etc, has left me spread pretty thin, but when it comes to my commitment to continue to support and follow the career of Timothée Chalamet, it is at an all-time high, especially as Dune 2 and Wonka are released later this year, along with updates about the Dylan biopic, and whatever Timmy has cooked up with AppleTV+. But I need to focus my attention in support of Timmy at one central location and that will be on Instagram.

Again, thanks for all your support here at the forums. I'll still be visiting and if you have any questions, I will surely respond to them.

Thanks Simone for even continuing to maintain the boards. Instagram is definitely way more popular with most fans. However, Timothee related social media becomes quite ovbiously more active when there are new interviews, photos, public appearances, and content to post and discuss. I think, for example, September through December 2023 will be much more alive and fun on the boards in addition to Instagram with Chalametmania news due to Dune 2 and Wonka! I look forward to continuing to post sometimes during peak Timothee public consciousness times haha. And I'm happy you are still peeking in once in a while and commenting.

Thanks Anthony! And you are correct, when there is very active activity on Timothée, fans are available and interested in engaging more. But the premise of a messageboard is that it relies on members to be active and doing their part to create threads and post comments to keep it active and interesting. General fans of the past two years have no interest in the messageboard format, believe me, I have tried to steer traffic to the forums which will allow people to post pics, links, and have a very robust conversation. But there were no bites, they were just content with being lurkers, and liking a Tweet or IG post. And that's it.

But I do see the value of keeping this community active for at the very least, to have a point of reference for historical information on Timmy and his career.

So if I don't see you at Instagram, I know you're here and I will be checking in regularly to respond to any comments posted in any thread.

Thanks, Simone for the boards, I like the format. I know I'm old-fashioned about that format a bit but I don't mind. In the meantime, I like Instagram, too! Thanks for everything you do for both. Good luck with the profile on Instagram.
