Scrolling through my newest issue of Variety that arrived on Friday, I was surprised when I came upon this feature of Timothée. This is the first issue of FYC ads and it's just September.

This will not be the last time we'll see Timmy in the pages of Variety this fall.

Hey all, the chance photo of Timothée seen in Central Park this weekend with his The King co-star Lily Rose Depp (who plays his young royal wife in the film) has gotten the fandom into a tizzy. Although I am well aware of this, I want to make an official announcement that Club Chalamet will not serve as a place to host deep discussions about Timothée's private life. As we go into an Oscar season for Timothée, no more cute lonely private boy. Oscar campaigns and voters really, really like nominees to be married and dating. Lily Rose is a darling girl, a good actress, with an awesome French-American pedigree of talented famous parents. I cannot think of a better match up for Timmy at this point. I'm just putting this here and like I said, I just wish Timmy well, and Club Chalamet will be a solid source of 100% support for Timothée in all his endeavors. Please keep speculations of his private life and gossip at a minimum on this topic because it always tends to get some fans very emotional (pro and con)and can go off topic quickly. Thanks!

Do you have any ideas why that is? This has always baffled me greatly as I always thought that work and private life should go seperate and it should always be just one's quality of work. It just doesn't seem to make much sense to me.

Timothée is an employee of big Hollywood studios right now, he's a commodity, he has to be marketable to the masses, he has to appeal to them beyond his gorgeous looks. He's a front runner in this upcoming Supporting Actor Oscar season. Voters feel more comfortable knowing that a nominee checks off all the boxes before they vote on someone, and that person being in an "approved" relationship that is of the norm for the masses, the easier it is to like them, relate to them, and vote for them. Like you, someone's personal life doesn't matter to me, but there are a lot of stockholders who need Timmy to fall into line and be more marketable and relatable to people who will go see him in Beautiful Boy. After all, a beautiful boy like Timmy being "single" is no longer acceptable and after BB, he has two big productions to promote in which he is the lead actor, and the powers that be want these films to be successful: The King and Dune. I don't think we'll be seeing Timothée in beautiful suits anymore either (he might be asked to tone it down and wear less flamboyant/androgynous suits), unfortunately, at least for the foreseeable future. He's only 22, he'll be free to be free once major career goals and obligations are met.

Ackermann, on the other hand, whose star has been on the rise in Hollywood thanks to both Swinton and Timothee Chalamet wearing his clothing for recent high-profile red-carpet appearances, incorporated the theme seamlessly into his staging and collection. He showed his signature exotic tailoring to dramatic effect, with models coming onto the runway in a cloud of smoke that blurred their gender identities into a romantic haze of ‘what does it matter?’

When I win the lottery, I'm going to buy some Ackermann designs. I love his work!

Thanks for the insight! I guess it's still a bit hard sometimes to wrap my head around the idea of him being perceived as a commodity. It's a tricky industry, indeed.

Every once in a while there is a zeitgeistian lightning strike. There may not be a clearer example in recent history than the introduction to the world of Timothée Chalamet. Don’t believe me? Try this fun social experiment: Next time you are in a crowd of people (millennials to baby boomers, it doesn’t matter), point in any direction and yell, “Oh, my God — it’s Timothée Chalamet!” This can also be used as an unethical life hack if you want to reduce the amount of people in front of you in a long line.

To be clear, this isn’t about luck, for after all, luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. And preparation is one thing Timmy has in spades. A graduate of LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and the child of an accomplished mother who was a dancer and actor herself, Timmy was born to do exactly what he is doing. He has been giving quality performances his entire life; we as the spectators were just slow on the uptake to appreciate him. I guess we weren’t really that slow considering he is one of the youngest nominees for an Academy Award ever.

I was given the gift of witnessing his meteoric rise firsthand — much of it happening over the short span of our press tour for “Call Me by Your Name.” It felt like his metamorphosis from a young, quirky and beautiful boy (pardon the pun) to a savvy, self-possessed and in-demand leading man happened before all of our eyes. But I still don’t know if it was Timmy who was reborn or if it was a matter of us coming to realize exactly who he is and what he is capable of.

His trajectory will not be parabolic; he has way too much in the tank. He has a sometimes turbulent sea of emotions inside of him, each one of those emotions somehow chaotic and also completely at his disposal — ready to be unleashed on any scene he is in. His work will continue to grow, and those of us who have had the pleasure and fortune to work with him in his early career will run into each other at future award shows (no doubt riding his coattails) and give each other a knowing nod, a nod that says both “We saw this coming” and “So you know what it’s like working with Timmy …”

Armie Hammer starred in Broadway’s “Straight White Men,” and he plays Martin D. Ginsburg in the upcoming film “On the Basis of Sex.”

I love this piece so much. It's the most heartfelt and genuine praise of Timmy among all interviews I have seen so far. Armie is a great actor, person and friend. Hope their friendship last forever.

KLEIN We are always keeping our eye out for the next big thing. Take Timothee Chalamet. Before Call Me by Your Name was released last year, Jerry Bruckheimer and his wife invited us to their home for a screening. Afterwards, I realized that I was seated with the star of the movie; I was sure he would be huge. At dinner, he happened to mention that he was staying at my hotel. On my way home, I called in to ask, “What room is that Chalamet kid in?” It was 506, the worst room in the hotel. I told them to pack his bags immediately and move him to the penthouse tonight. Now he’s a regular.

Timmy is a damn Stan like the rest of us! LOL! This cute revelation just allows us to better understand the kid we all adore, and that he's normal just like most of us! LOL!

A boat load of Timmy stan accounts on Instagram have been deleted or hacked, a serious purge, in the past day. My Club Chalamet IG account was 'hacked' Friday morning. I didn't get it back until Sunday evening. One primary account reached out to Brian for his help, and I think he's going to reach out to IG directly. But there are way too many stan accounts that a copycats of Timmy's profile and of other high profile stan accounts. This is really weird, but I do think there are a lot of suspicious stan accounts from people who just want to manipulate followers and try to impersonate Timmy.

With Brian's help, he was able to direct IG to reinstate all the deleted IG Timmy stan accounts.

Timmy now has the free time to spend with Lily-Rose and they moved PDA up two notches based on these pics. They look cute together, if I can be honest.
