Oh yes, the movie will be ALL of Dune, not broken up.

I am so happy about this project because my country sucks for only introducing movies with huge bo potentials, or popcorn films. I thought I would never have the chance to see Timmy on big screen (except Interstellar when I didn't know him three years ago) because he took a more indie path. Now I swear I will definitely survive until the day I walk into the theater of Dune!

Waiting for official word, but it looks like Jake Gyllenhal will be Duncan Idaho. Where did you hear this? I haven't seen anything about this. If true, that would be big!

Jake Gyllenhaal would be an excellent choice for Duncan! I wish I could tell why. Spoilers I made the book to almost 60%. It's easy to unite Timmy with Paul (Timmy is so perfect for the role), although I had a solid 22-23-year-old picture of Paul. I read the book for the first time roughly when Timmy was born.

I've seen the reports late last night on Instagram. Nothing official yet, but, Jake is a Villeneuve veteran and he LOOKS the part for Duncan. Just waiting for official word.

New interview with Timmy talking mostly about Dune. The translation of the interview is a bit off, but it's still very good!

I'm so excited for this project, it's been a long wait untill we can see it. Thank you to whoever sent Villeneuve a link to watch BB!
About Jake Gyllenhall, I think the rumour comes from his name being added to the Dune page on letterboxd. How reliable is that? It seems strange to me that no trades, no Imdb, nobody has heard this rumour. I'm gonna wait for something more official.

I thought Timmy won this role because he was a perfect fit, except the age. It turned out that he didn't even go through the audition. Badass my boy. The fact that he looks younger than his age was once considered by himself as a disadvantage but now one of his powerful weapons. Only he can play teenager characters with old souls because he is exactly the kind of person himself. It's early to talk about awards but Paul Atreides is the most challenging role for Timmy so far. If everything else plays well, especially the script, we may expect another nomination for best actor in leading role for Timmy.

Hoping and praying that this will be his worldwide box office hit! It'd be a slap to all the haters saying that Timmy is not a "movie star!"

My favourite part of the article above is: "I am looking forward to being in Budapest again for six months. I can’t wait." I can't wait, too!!

I finished the book last week. I think I'll read again (five times in my life) before the movie. One of the books/stories that is with me in my lifetime. I can't wait for the movie with this excellent cast and crew. I think it'll be worth celebrating in some way or other.

Oh sweet Jesus, I did it, I beat the odds as a newbie and I got through the registration process to buy a badge to attend the Friday and Saturday of the next San Diego Comic Con!!! As I wrote months ago in this thread and make this post about my speculations that there could be a Dune panel at the next Comic Con, I figure what would I have to lose by registering to apply for a badge and attend the next Comic Con. Even in the event that Dune won't be there, I still want to be able to attend this comic con because it'll be the 50th anniversary of the event.I'm so damn excited!!!

I'm reading Dune at the present and it's taking me a while to get through it. I aim to complete it before the end of the year. Very excited about this project.
