Hi! Thanks so much for this post, it’s super helpful to me as a first timer. Do you happen to know where the vip section is in the ryerson theatre approximately? I have tickets for that show & theres an assigned seat but I’m not sure what other G/A tickets say on them. Thanks!

VIP seating slightly varies for each screening, and there are several pockets of VIP sections. It's unlikely that Timmy & crew will be in the VIP section of the Ryerson screening, but, it's not impossible. If he does watch the film with the audience there, who ever is sitting in his row, or in front or behind him will hit the jackpot that's for sure. But I think he'll just make it to the Q&A at that screening as he'll be in the audience for the world premiere at RTH. BTW, Ryerson is General Admission, the only assigned seats are at Elgin and RTH.

Hi! Do you think Timmy will 100% be at the hugo boss party? Thanks x I have no info about private parties, but if BB is sponsored by Hugo Boss and especially if Timothée dons a HB suit, I think Timothée will attend the party for professional obligations and as a courtesy.

Yhanks! I’m still just kinda confused because the ticket i received has an assigned row/seat number so I’m not sure if that’s just something all tickets have but doesn’t mean anything or if i have an assigned seat. I’m scared to come later & end up with a bad seat because I misinterpreted my ticket but I don’t wanna go for like 8am if I don’t have to haha. Thanks again

Thanks again Sarah, did you buy your ticket directly from TIFF, or from Stubhub? Ryerson tickets are GA. Please review your ticket carefully. Feel free to pm me if you like.

No press conference. Booo!!! But they will cover the RTH red carpet starting at 5:15 on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Instead of creating a new temporary thread, we can switch gears a bit since all the Timmy Tiff Tips have been shared. Along with the post just above this, someone tweeted this!

I am going to the Ryerson screening, and I'm wondering when is a good time to arrive to get a chance at a good seat. I was thinking 8:30 am should be okay. At what time will you guys going get there?

Hmmm, if you could get there at 8am, that may be even better, but 8:30 is good. I won't be there, I'm going to Friday Elgin screening.

I just reviewed a copy of my ticket and upon further investigation, I firstly assumed that I/we would be sitting a distance back from the stage, but holy shit balls, we'll be in the 6th row at the Elgin Friday night!!! Our seats are in row FF, but according to a more detailed Elgin seat map, rows AA-GG are the first 7 rows!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I assumed that double lettered rows came AFTER the single letter rows, so to my happy surprise, we'll be close to the stage for the Q&A!!! This really helps absorb the cost of the ticket and will make our evening even more enjoyable!!!
In the previous years at TIFF, pre-reserved seats, we just ran to the seats that were opened, I never made note of the actual row, so this is all a pleasant surprise.

simone! what time do we need to line up if we have reserved seats at the elgin? Start getting in line around at least 7pm cuz they will start letting people in at 7:30ish. And if you're not in your seat by 7:50, they start letting Rush line in for those that didn't make the cut.

Hi! I know that I can save a spot for one other person in the rush line for eglin, but what happens if the person has not arrived when I'm being let in? Will I be able to purchase their ticket for them and wait to give it to them?
