The trailer dropped for Joaquin Phoenix's The Joker, a film I am very excited to see. I'm not one of those fans where I pledge allegiance to either DC Comics or Marvel, I love them both. But there's something very special about the Batman universe, and The Joker is an important, influential, and a particularly sinister villain to Batman. I'm calling it already - Joaquin could get nominated and finally win an Oscar for this role, perhaps?
BTW, Joaquin is one of Timmy's favorite actors, he just loves the guy.
I am so not a comic book movie fan (I think I will be one of the few on the planet who does not see Avengers) but I must say this looks a bit intriguing, even for me! The trailer looks quite dark, actually.

I am seriously looking forward to Star Wars: The Rise of the Skywalker. I don't claim to be a diehard fan ... just a casual scifi fan. But anytime there is a space opera I am thrilled to go to the theatre. Again why I am so excited for Dune and Timothee to enter legend status with his portrayal of Paul I hope Haha. And for Star Wars 2019, I love the new cast and characters mixed with favorite legends. Also, see this news
I am thrilled Carrie Fisher is getting a good proper sendoff for her character. I am surprised how much cut footage they had to use. I hope it makes an emotional punch. I was already moved by the article.
Thank you for the article. Actually I've been a fan of Star Wars for nearly 25 years, thus I'm so excited about this movie and as a sci-fi fan about Dune. In fact I became the fan of both saga in my teens at the same time. By the way the desert scenes were shooted in Jordan this time.

I saw Avengers End Game last night, I really loved it. All the things that happened, had to happen for the well deserved good ending it had. I'll have to see it again in a few weeks with a less enthusiastic crowd. They clapped so much during the movie, and laughed out loud that I couldn't hear some of the dialogue. I got many compliments on my Captain Marvel jacket. I must admit, I did look kinda kick ass in it. LOL!

Just got back from seeing Avengers Endgame. I went with coworkers after taking half day off from work. We were in sold out showing in my area. The movie was so worth it! I am still processing what I saw, but Avengers Endgame is exactly why I love movies. This film made over a decade of watching Marvel films so meaningful. I laughed and cried and gaped with my mouth open. It's definitely one of best comic book based films ever made in my opinion. I can talk a lot more but I didnt want to spoil for anyone.

Game of Thrones is not a movie but it might as well be. Between Avengers Endgame on Friday and Game of Thrones Battle for Winterfell on Sunday, I think I had the best cinematic experiences for one weekend in the theatre and at home in a long time. Anyone agree?!
