I created this community a year ago today! We plan on being here for a very, very long time! Thanks for all your support thus far, and I hope that by year's end, we'll continue to appeal to the select fan who wants to be a part of this special group of Timothée Chalamet fans!

HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! I usually don't do any social media because I don't like how nasty people can get online towards other fans when they would never you hope act that way in person. However, I made an exception this year with Club Chalamet after spending some time reading the premise of the website and fan posts which were intelligent, respectful, and sometimes funny. Also, as a mature but young male fan of Timothee Chalamet, I appreciate a community of people who can discuss the actors public life and art without resorting to too much hyperbole about his great looks and also realize he is not going to marry or date them. Sorry to burst that bubble, but that kind of online obsessive fandom is way too much for my tastes. Again, which is why I appreciate Club Chalamet and want to say thank you to Simone, Teenca, and the other fans for fun and spirited discussions to date. The next 1.5 years will be insanely wicked due to four movies coming out... I'm dying for DUNE!!!

What a lovely post Chalametthegreat! Fellow fans just like YOU are what make CC what it is, and what it will continue to be with your active participation. As large as the Timmy fanbase is, the niche that we have here and the key word is 'maturity'. Most fans just enjoy having fun and being silly with other fellow fans, and they like to engage in fun and games and weird gossip that we don't have an interest in. There's also fandom politics involved and cliques. I have invited a few people to join CC, but they claim their English skills "aren't strong enough" to participate. But they tweet like English is their first language, and they are friendly with people who don't like me. Most of those people just lurk here and I'm fine with that. You mentioned how nasty people can be online, and that's what I experienced early on, and that's why I created this haven for like minded fans. So thank you for finding us, and becoming a valuable member!
