I don't think I've ever watched a movie by Woody Allen, they have never attracted me. I'm also ambivalent about this one because of all the mess with the accusations and Timmy's choice to distance himself from it. I guess I'll watch it for him. I wonder if Amazon will wait untill after the Oscar next year to release it, considering they are going to push Beautiful Boy and Timmy for awards and this movie might again be problematic for Timmy to deal with.

I really want to watch it because of Timmy and because it is a romantic comedy. I want to see him in a romantic comedy. However, due to the possible backlash, I hope it will not be promoted heavily.

Considering Timmy and Selena Gomez donated their salary and considering the general environment with the MeeToo movement and all that in Hollywood, I think it will be just dumped on Amazon prime, with no real promotion. What about the other actors? Have they said anything? It would be difficult to promote it if nobody shows up to do it.

I haven't heard anything about Selena donating her salary. I know a lot of her fans were pressuring her to do so, but there was nothing from her about it. Hey, manuela, if you want to see an Allen film, I recommended A Midnight in Paris, I absolutely love it. I'm a history buff, and I watched this film several times before my first trip to Paris, a city near and dear to Timmy as we all know.

I'm a history buff, and I watched this film several times before my first trip to Paris, a city near and dear to Timmy as we all know. Griffin Newman was the first to announce via Twitter in Oct 2017 that he regretted acting in the film and would not work with Woody Allen again. He donated his salary to RAINN. Rebecca Hall was the next and she announced via Instagram that she regretted working on the film and would not work with Woody Allen again. She donated her salary to Time's Up. Selena did not address the issue but on the day the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund was announced, she expressed support via her Instagram. A source close to her said she made a significant donation anonymously to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund that far exceeded her salary for the film. Ellen Fanning said she regrets if her decision to work with anyone hurt anyone in the process. She made a donation to Time’s Up. Saw this on IMDb. ![]() No theatrical release in USA. really don't want it to be released at all Well, you may not want to see it and won't watch it, but I sure do and I hope it's released at the appropriate time. A lot of Timmy's fans want to see Rainy Day. Remember, I'm no Allen fan, but he has not been tried in court or sent to jail for the allegations made against him. And with Timmy working on this film and it being completed, I want to see Timothée in this film, at least once, because of him, not to support Allen.

I don't give a shit about WA although I do think his case is a little special compared to other scandal targets in Metoo movement. I want to see this movie only because of Timmy, but I don't want him to be bashed by any aggressive feminists, damaging his opportunity to win awards, especially before BB

I want to see this movie only because of Timmy, but I don't want him to be bashed by any aggressive feminists, damaging his opportunity to win awards, especially before BB Aggressive and overly sensitive feminists and professional SJWs can make any promotion of this film hell. So that's why I think when it is released, it'll go to direct streaming.

As a fan of Timmy's, of course I feel a pull to watch this movie and I probably will. I do hope, and believe, it will be released only in streaming and that's a good thing. There are still people going after Timmy in spite of his statement, I can only imagine it getting worse when the movie is released. It sucks that no matter what, he'll always be judged by some people for this one mistake. One thing I'm pretty sure about, they won't ask him or the other actors to promote it, as some people seem to think possible. They wouldn't risk the actors throwing the movie and director under the bus during promotion for it.

Well those same idiots who want to attack Timmy (only because of his popularity) need to consider attacking every single actor and actress that worked with Allen in the past four decades. But nah, why bother doing that, they aren't sincere in their bitching, they just want to attack the most popular and recent actor. Allen has had these allegations for years, YEARS, and only until Timmy worked with him, are people supposedly all up in a huff about it. Fuck em.

I've seen several Woody Allen movies, some I liked, some I didn't. I would watch this movie just to see Timmy! I hope it does get released in some form, either through a stream or at atheatre.

You know what the irony is? That while some people criticize him because he worked with Woody Allen, other criticize him because he regrets doing it and apologized for it. Basically, it's a lose lose situation, he cannot win. I guess haters will hate no matter what. Frankly I hope this comes out soon after maybe the Oscars and then we can all forget about it.
