I want to see A Rainy Day in NY too. So bad! And I'm not ashamed to admit it either. I don't care what anyone else says. And you shouldn't either, Simone. Honestly, I know this sounds bad (but again don't really care) but I could care less about the whole Woody Allen thing. I just want to see it for Timmy. Yes, I'm shallow. But it is what it is. LOL

Good for you Jenna! I'm sure we'll see it in time. I've seen many of Woody's films, and a few I really enjoyed. Short of the man going to prison for his alleged crimes, I'm going to fucking watch this movie as soon as I'm able to. The twitter kids are making my afternoon fun with their Mountain Dew inspired hissy fits. LOL!

Thanks, Simone.  Those comments are unreal. I'd just totally ignore them. I do wish it would come out in theaters in the US but who knows if it ever will? Hopefully once it comes out in other countries they'll pirate it and we'll get to see it here. Although I did hear that Amazon gave Woody Allen back the rights to it. So that means he's free to find another distributor. So maybe it will be released in the US after all. Fingers crossed. |

Oh yes, I have blocked about 8 people this afternoon. I have no time for these girls. They came out of nowhere and are so mean. They attack and mock those who they disagree with, and this is all over a movie... a movie.

I am sorry about the social media hate you recently endured. I have strong opinions, but the Internet is only fun and engaging when people respect each other no matter their views. I said my peace on this film a month ago ... I personally would watch it unless Timothee himself would say not to. Anyways, I have had fun this year on this forum and cant wait for more Timothee news to discuss.

^ Thanks! It is a test drive for worse things to come when the film is actually released and being seen by fans. Timothée is professional and would never, ever speak out and tell people not to see a film. Never! So the haters thinking he'll do so, or who have deliberately misconstrued what he wrote, are delusional. It's a work of art that will see the light of day - one way or another.

Just read a review from someone who saw the movie. They said it's terrible.  Everything from the acting (including Timmy's) to the story line to the characters. Of course that's just 1 person's opinion. I still want to see it to form my own opinion. So I hope it eventually gets released in the US. Oh, the 1 (and apparently only) thing they liked is that Timmy plays the piano and sings in it. Now that I cannot wait to see. |

I would not take that person’s comments seriously. There are so many Woody Allen haters out there. This person is most likely lying or exaggerating.
