Stuff like this, i already know that they wont be selling tickets and it’s awful! but at least you will get to see him or that’s what i hope... thank u very much in advance ❤️❤️
ps: i’m from argentina and the premiere will happen to be held when i’m visiting nyc so i feel like i cant miss this opportunity

I've never been to a premiere either but I'm sure with all of the fans in the NY area alone plus others probably coming from out of state, it's going to be a mob scene. My friend is going into the city very early that morning to try and get a spot in front so she might be able to see him. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. There are others here that have been to premieres so they could probably answer your questions better than I did. lol

Welcome to Club Chalamet Lindsxt! Only thing I would suggest is to get to the theater VERY early. You know how nice Timmy is and he'll try to meet as many fans as possible. Another thought came to mind, I don't know of Rob Pattinson will be there, if he plans to be, it would be pure chaos as you'll have his fans to deal with. Just a nightmare.
Have fun and good luck!

As others echo, I would imagine you will need to be there really, really early. No idea what time but if you want to be up-front, I would head over there in the early morning. You'll probably have a long wait but worth it. Good luck!

I'm really hoping The King will be showing at a theater where I can go and see it. I've been looking at movie theater's on Long Island and in NYC but so far I don't see it listed as showing at any of them. Since it comes out starting Oct 11 I would've thought the theater's would've had it on their calendars showing movies that are coming soon. I guess I'll just keep checking.

I'm betting that NETFLIX will distribute The King to the same local theaters where ROMA played last year. The Garden Cinema in Norwalk, CT is my local indie film theater, so I'm keeping my eye on their schedule. ROMA played there for quite a while, even after it debuted on NETFLIX. I certainly wanted to see that film on a big screen, and feel the same about The King. You won't have a problem finding a local theater in the New York area. Do you know the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington? You might give them a call.

I've been checking the web sites of local theaters to see if it's listed on their calendars for Oct. And yep, I know Cinema Arts Centre. I saw Beautiful Boy there. I'm sure it'll be playing at theaters in NYC and I could go see it there but Long Island would be preferable. lol Do you know which theaters ROMA played at? I've heard that they've shown Netflix movies in the past at Landmark Theaters. There are 2 of those in NY. 1 in NYC and 1 in Albany.

Give them a call and see whether they have The King scheduled. If not, check your other local independent "art" houses, ie, Malverne Cinema in Malverne, the Plaza Cinema and Media Arts Centre in Patchogue, etc. These are likely candidates for NETFLIX art house film distribution on Long Island. I'm sure one of the theaters close to you will be showing The King. Be patient; some theaters only finalize their schedules a week before.

Thanks for the info. Malverne Cinema is like 15 minutes away from me. I saw Beautiful Boy there as well as at the Cinema Arts Centre. Yes, there are quite a few of the smaller theaters on Long Island that will probably be showing The King. I'll continue to keep an eye on them.

Thanks for sharing. Anyone here get free tickets? You literally have to grab them a second or minute after they go on sale. And that's assuming the website does not crash on you ...

I heard the web site DID crash. lol Also, I noticed that it's showing at 2 different theaters at 2 different times. Originally they never said it was playing at 2 different theaters did they? I only remember hearing 1 theater. So I wonder which 1 the red carpet is going to be at? Kind of confusing if you're planning on going.

The 6:30pm is the red carpet one that has mostly industry people (maybe they had a few extras they gave to fans). But they added a 7:30pm - wonder if that is all fans, which is pretty cool. Simone got a ticket plus I have some other friends who got tickets for the 7:30pm one. I am so jealous but happy for them! I wonder if Timmy will make an appearance at the 7:30pm one too (when it is over). Tuesday will be crazy - so many pics/videos!
