Thanks Simone! You always have sound advice. With respect to NYC, I am not that prepared financially for a NYC trip in two weeks. I honestly did not anticipate a NYC premiere of The King. If it happens in California, a DUNE premiere trip would be more thought out with a vacation plus sightseeing. Sounds like you have a good plan. And only if finances and time allow you to go to NY, then do so. Otherwise, don't because as you stated, you are really gung ho about Dune, as am I, and a Hollywood redcarpet for a blockbuster film will be well worth the wait. This NY premiere has been sprung on all of us at the last minute and ONLY because I'll already be in NYC, and by paying for an extra night at the hotel, and paying a fee to change my return flight, this is the only reason why I'm attempting to attend the red carpet. If I weren't in NY, I would enjoy pictures of the red carpet 3 time zones away.

I'm putting this out there in the Universe.
What if Timmy makes an appearance on Good Morning America on Oct 1st? Because I didn't get tickets to the Jimmy Fallon taping for 9/27 or 9/30, I said fuck it, and requested tickets for GMA on 10/1 on Tuesday. Not an hour later, I got my ticket request fulfilled. Pretty nifty. However, it just dawned on my dumb ass that Timmy could appear on GMA that Tuesday morning. The timing would be perfect as he'll be in NY that day for the North American premiere of his film, and then he's off to London and then South Korea! So, let's see how this plays out. It would be a wonderful alternative to the red carpet.

I appreciate all the updates on everything. What you say makes sense. By the way, do you think he will be back in NYC anyways in two months for a lot of "Little Women" promotion and premiere?

I really think Little Women will screen in LA at the AFI festival. But especially since it's a Christmas movie and it's on the Oscar radar, I think there may be some screenings and Q&As in both NY and LA.

As much as I'd love to go to the premiere to try to see Timmy I've decided not to go. I think it's going to be total chaos and I don't think I'm up for it. I can't go into the city as early as would be required to get a spot in the front. And if I go later closer to the actual time of the red carpet I'll never get to see him. Not with the crowds I'm anticipating will be there. But with all of the movies he's got coming out, I'll hopefully get another chance to see him.

I would imagine it is going to be total chaos and so crowded. Unless I was in the city, I don't think I would bother either (I am way in LA so not a chance). Like you said, you would need to be there really early to get up close, and then if you waited until close to when it started, you would probably be so far away. I think there will be more opportunities with Little Women than The King. And then of course Dune next year will be huge.

I totally understand Jenna, a wise decision. If I weren't already in NY, it wouldn't even cross my mind to try to attend, especially since I already live here in LA where I know I'll see him up close again. But to experience the NY red carpet for the King is something I just can't let pass. I reckon some stans will be flying in for the red carpet, but I hope they plan to literally camp out and waste an entire day in one of the most glorious cities on the planet.

I am sorry things did not work out for you. I so want to go but I have a work conflict that I unfortunately cannot change right now. The news of the NYC premiere came too late for me to alter my schedule. It's hard to plan a trip without the exact time and location other than we know in the evening in NYC on October 1.
Simone, I am looking forward to seeing photos and maybe getting some advice for future red carpet premieres depending on your experience. Its wonderful how your vacation coincides with the premiere.
I agree with you though on seeing NYC also ... I dont often get a chance to go to downtown Manhattan. I would camp out for probably half a day for a celebrity I love but if I am in Manhattan I need to see parts of Manhattan also. Having been there many times the city never gets old to me. Just more expensive maybe ...

Chalametthegreat, the primary mission of Club Chalamet is to SHARE information about/and experiences with Timothée Chalamet. As I was telling another friend, since the creation of 'Club Chalamet', I feel more of a professional responsibility to try to attend public Timmy events so that I can provide coverage on the event as my opportunity will allow. So yes, I'll pay for another night at my hotel, and I'll pay the flight change fee to depart the following day, all so that I can experience a NY red carpet premiere for the first time myself, and to be there to support Timmy, and share my experience with my friends here.

I am appreciative of the news and feedback and anticipated great photos especially since it's all in good fun. Please dont take my message to mean I expected you to do that because you are somehow required to. I was just trying to say have a good time.

I just felt the need to 'advertise' CC's mission statement at this time and remind everyone my primary goal is to have fan experiences to share with everyone.

I am a bit sad about not going to the premiere. But he's got more movies coming out in the future and I'm sure he'll be doing all kinds of promotions for them. Especially Little Women and then definitely for Dune next year. So I'm hoping I'll be able to see him at some point during those movie promotions. I won't give up hope. lol
