To lucy123 and anyone else who would like to know how to add a tweet in a post - Go to the tweet in question, click on it. copy the url code Come here. Open a new comment window by clicking 'Reply' In the body of the comment text box, at the end of the tool's row, there is a symbol box "</>" Click on that, select the Twitter symbol bird Insert the url code from the tweet you want to share. Click, Embed. The code will show up in the body of the comment box. Select 'create post' It may take a few seconds for the tweet to show up. Thanks.

Once you register to become a member, please fill out your profile as much as you can. Below are the fields that should be completed in full. For your birth date, only the month and date is needed. So when your birthday comes around, your member name will show up in the Members stats section on the 'Today's birthdays' at the bottom of the front page, right hand side.
Latest Status: Email: name at gmail.com Web Site: Do you have a website? If not, leave blank Birthday: Month & Date (mine, September 30) Gender: Female or Male Location: What city are you in? You can leave blank Posts: Your number of posts will automatically show up here Date Registered: The date and time you registered will show up here
Anyone can click on a member's profile and see this information, so please only share what you want to share. If you don't want people to know your birthday, you're not obligated or required to share that info.

I added my birthday to my profile when I registered last year, and I enabled the visibility in the Privacy section, too. If it doesn't show up on that day, I'll check the settings again. Thank you for the badge, I love it

Glad you love the badge Teenca, you totally deserve it.
Thanks for creating this thread, great idea to house questions here about the functionality of the board.
Can you edit the title of this threat to CC Technical Manual, I think that will be clearer for the members.
Thanks!

Thanks Teenca, I'll be moving some instructions over here. Since they are older posts, they may show up 'first' in this thread.

Quick question. Can I (or anyone) post a screenshot about an IG story? They can be seen via twitter anyway, but I don't remember this issue.

So that QUOTES can stand out, please click on the 'quote' icon along the tool bar in the comment window. Then insert the text you want to quote in between the url code brackets where it will read 'insert quote here'.
"this is what a quoted section looks like without using the quote tool"
See the difference?
Thanks.

If you want to insert an image in a post, you must have the web url for said photo. Once you find an image you want to post here, right click the image. Select 'copy image address' - it will automatically copy the image url for you. Come to CC, click on 'REPLY', along the menu bar, click on the 'image' link which is the 3rd icon. Right click into the "Image URL" box, and the url link for the image will self populate. Click insert image and the photo url link will appear in the body of your post. Click 'Create Post', and the image will go live such as the image below.
