Chris, you might want to read the book, but if the horror subject matter is a concern for you, then you know best and you know to avoid the book and the film. No subject is taboo for me to watch Timothée be in. He's a great actor whose work I want to support. I read Bones and All and it's great.

I think others will feel as you do about it, Chris. But then again there are others who will want to see it because they're fans of his and will see him in anything no matter the subject matter. And also, there are others who've read the book that will want to see how it was translated from the book to the screen. I'm kind of on the same page about the subject matter. It does kind of turn me off but yet I will go see it because of him and I want to see his performance in it. Everyone will feel differently about it I think when it comes to this movie and if they want to see it or not. I read the book and thought it was ok. I'm curious to see how they've adapted it for the screen. I honestly think though, that this was a strange choice of a book to want to turn into a movie given the subject matter. It'll be interesting to see how it does. Although I don't think this will damage his career in any way. I heard it's already been getting good buzz, actually.

Hello Jennaj, Nice to meet you, and Thank you for the Reply. I truly hope He does well with this movie, and that there is no backlash of any kind in anyway. I have come to love Timothee since his very first movie, and seeing all his interviews and what a Charming down to earth Guy he is. And I love the feeling you get when at the end of his movies you have the feeling, yes this is how a hero should win out at the end. However I fear seeing him as a monster in this type of film. will taint my perception oh him. and I really don't want that to happen. So I don't intend to see this movie. Which doesn't mean I do not support Timothee in his work. it's out of the respect and admiration I feel for him, That I don't want to risk my perception of him being possibly ruined. But I do wish him the Best.

Nice to meet you too, Chris. And I definitely understand where you're coming from as far as not wanting to see it. As I said, you won't be the only 1 who won't want to. I think it'll be divided among his fans on who will want to see it and who won't. That's why I said it'll be interesting to see how it does.

And the first part of explanation is EXACTLY why I will not see this movie and that's saying something as I usually would look forward to one of his movies coming out.... I have such a fear that Luca is going to damage Timothee's reputation and career with this movie it isn't even funny. Does anyone remember Ross lynch who was a huge Disney heartthrob, and how his acting career came to a screeching halt after he did the title roll in the Jeffery Dolmer movie? And you know what they say about Reputation's, a life time to build, second's to destroy.... And what is with this director always wanting to get Timmy naked, and doing sex scenes anyway? I don't mind seeing Timothee scantily clothed, but give the guy some kind of respect will ya Luca he isn't an Adult film star for Christ sake. I am just very worried and concerned how this movie may effect Timothee's career, how he is perceived after words by Hollywood, fellow actors, and actresses, and many of his Fans. to make a quote from a popular Sci-Fi movie.....I have a bad feeling about this.

Bones and All will not have a negative effect on Timothée's career. Not everyone will want to watch this film, which is fine because a lot of people don't like horror films, let alone films with too much blood and violence. And I understand and appreciate that. But to presume that this film is bad for Timmy is to admit that you don't understand fully what it is to be an actor and the interest in challenging yourself in roles that are very controversial. I'm looking forward to seeing Bones and All, especially since I read and enjoyed the book very much. Some of Timmy's diehard fans will avoid this film, and that's fine, he and his agent understands this.

Hi Simone,
Actually I use to be theater both during and after High School... I dropped out for personal reason's I won't get into here. And several friend's and I use to make our own home video's. It's what got me into building model's as I had to make all our props... So I can appreciate actor's taking on various roles to expand their skills. I myself just could never get into the whole horror movie scene. which is odd as I played in our high school theater's version of Dracula twice.....but got more into Drama, and Comedies than anything else. But as I said it was not an easy decision to make to avoid this movie. as I love Timothee's movies. and he himself. And I feel like I am not being a loyal fan to him by not seeing it. but I had to sit down and seriously ask myself if I would see him through the same eyes if I did. or would it change my perception of him. would I even be able to set comfortably through this film? and how would I feel walking away at the end? and I just came to the honest conclusion it would effect me. So I decided to walk away from this film. I will see him as young Willy Wonka, and Can't wait for Dune part two. But I just can't in good conscience watch this movie. Be healthy, and safe in this heat wave that's sweeping the country. Chris

I honestly don't think it will impact his career negatively in any way. I mean, like Simone said, some of his fans will go see it and some won't, which is fine. But that doesn't mean it will effect his career in any way. Look at A Rainy Day in NY for example. In my opinion it wasn't 1 of his best or more popular movies compared to some of his others. But it didn't negatively effect his career. Every actor is entitled to have a movie or even more than 1 that doesn't do well. In fact, sometimes it's expected. Every single movie an actor is in can't be a hit. So even if Bones & All doesn't do well at the box office I think his career will be fine. He's got Wonka and Dune 2 coming up and his fans cannot wait to see those 2. Believe me, he's got nothing to worry about.

Jenna, I was just about to mention A Rainy Day in NY. A lot of fans "boycotted" the film because of the decades old allegations against director Woody Allen. I would even go out on an extra limb and state that many of those fans never watched an Allen film anyway, so there's no loss. Timothée performed fine in the film and I quite liked the movie, then again, I like some of Allen's films, and his personal drama did not sway me to not watch this movie. But everyone is different, and not everyone can separate life from fiction and when real life bleeds into art, some people truly have a struggle with that.
The Armie shit in his personal life totally turned me off from watching CMBYN in the past two years. However, I did watch Death on the Nile. Why? I like Kenneth Branaugh, and I have a girl crush on Gal 'Wonder Woman' Gadot.
So you don't have to defend yourself in not wanting to watch Bones and All because in essence, I understand that this particular film will not appeal to you. Myself, I'm not particularly interested in the upcoming Entergalatic adult animation based on Kid Cudi's life, with Timmy as his friend Jimmy. I'll watch one episode to check it out and then move on. His music is not my style and I'm not a huge animation fan.

Hey Simone, How are you? hope your not getting much of this heat wave we are getting. hit 96 here yesterday, and supposed to hit 98 today. but I have a feeling it with go past 100. if you are getting this heat, please stay cool, and drink allot of water. To be honest, this probably won't be the only movie of Timmy's I will not see. I will not see Find me if they still it. as Luca had said there is over an hour of other scene's he shot with Timothee, and the idio..I mean Hammer. that he didn't put in the first one that he was planning on using as flash back's in the movie. Which Nothing against Timothee. but I can't even stand to watch the scene's with hammer in the first movie let alone even more in a second. plus he said he was intending to have the full cast back. and I refuse to see anything with Hammer in it. I can't even watch cmbyn because of how much Hammer creeps me out touching our Timothee. I won't watch him doing it again in find me. if they drop the unused scene's from the first, and get an actor who actually looks the age Oliver is supposed to be in find me which is only five years later than cmbyn. then I will see it. other wise, these two movies are the only one's of Timmothee's I have no intentions of watching. Stay cool, Stay Safe, Chris

Jenna, yes, sorry, I know you're going to see Bones and All, I should have made it clear I was directing that comment towards Chris.
Chris, there will be no sequel to CMBYN. nothing was filmed for Find Me, I'm not sure where you got that information, but that is totally false. No script exists, no one was hired, nothing was filmed, it's not happening, so you don't have to worry about seeing that film. I try to tell the devoted of CMBYN that the sequel isn't happening and Timmy is way too huge of a star now to go back to playing Elio 10-15 years from now to feed the fantasies of devotees of the books. Add in the saga with Armie, who cannot get insurance on a film set, and has no agent/manager, it's just not happening.

HI Simon, There was a video of a cut scene From CMBYN on one of the sites. not sure which site now. But it was a scene from over an hours worth of extra footage Luca had filmed of Elio, and Oliver. together. which I guess he said there were more sex scene's of them at the hotel and a sex scene under the falls as well. But anyway he was talking about Find Me, and said he had contacted all of the original cast about doing Find me, and that he was planning on using parts of the footage he didn't use in CMBYN as originally the movie came out 2 hours and fifteen minutes. which he had to cut down. but he was intending to use it as flash backs between Elio, and Oliver before they I won't ruin how find me ends. but that was a video clip someone had posted. wish I could remember the site that had it. that was where I heard it. And when I saw it. I said oh hell no I won't watch this if it's made. I didn't even like the novel Find Me. and tossed it out as there were things that just ruined the character's from the first Novel. Chris This was part of the photo from the extra film clip he showed of one of the cut scene's, which was of Elio walking his bike behind Oliver and upset about something he was talking about using as a flash back in find me. So personally I am hoping your right and he dropped it.

Getting back on track to discuss Bones and All, here's a red herring tweet claiming they saw a special screening of the film. Take this with a grain of salt. I know B&A will be a visual bloody treat, but I don't take this viewing as being completely true. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce6J41QFMXL
