We're on page 30! Yes!
Timmy is still hard at work mingling with voters and movers and shakers as of tonight. I think he's still in LA, but this could be NY. Anyway, this was happening this evening.
On a separate note, it's a damn pity that due to some contract negotiations, Tribune Communications has put a blackout on Channel 5, KTLA with Charter Spectrum cable, and many Angelenos were not able to watch that special presentation on Beautiful Boy and Cold War tonight. I planned to watch it and to my horror, a damn public service type message was on the cable channel for KTLA explaining why we would not watch that channel. WTF, is this Russia or China?
Anyway, Timmy is doing all he can to stay on the radar, and he's doing a great job. I stubbornly believe this can pay off for him. Especially in light of the PR fiasco nightmare with Green Book (see that thread in Everything section).

For such a significant screening of Beautiful Boy taking place just days before the Oscar nominations tells me once more that Amazon is in this to WIN. Thank God for their stamina, deep pockets, and trust in Timothée's performance. I wish I could attend that UN screening. I just hope it's a mature audience in attendance and not too overwhelmed with local and long distance stans who have seen him multiple times.

A good question was posted to me on Twitter which I'll share here and elaborate:
A lot of Timmy fans or fans of Beautiful Boy are new to discussions about film promotional responsibilities and Oscar campaigns. These are two different set of obligations.
I've seen snarky comments all over the fandom from people wondering why no other stars from the film, namely Steve Carell, are not helping Timmy on the Oscar campaign. They are no obligated to. They are not in contention for an Oscar, they met their contractual obligations to promote the film when it was released in North America and in Europe (London). They all have given so much of themselves at Q&A, with or without Timmy. But when it became crystal clear that Timmy would be the sole recipient of an Oscar nomination. that's when the studio continued the promotional phase but switched it over into Oscar campaign phase. The primary talent that has the highest chance of earning an Oscar nom was now the principle talent left remaining in active promotion of the film. If Steve was in contention, he'd still be doing some promotion. If Felix was in serious contention, he'd be out there in front like Alfonso Cauron and Peter Farrelly.
Once Oscar nominations are announced next Tuesday, we'll all have a clearer idea as to how Amazon Studios will continue their Oscar campaign. Up until now, Steve has been on all FYC promos for Best Actor, since he was the Lead. But once nominations are announced and we'll know for sure that Timmy received his second nomination, the promotions will turn into 'Vote for Timmy as Best Supporting Actor'. If the film receives a Best Song nomination, expect the focus on Sampha to increase notably. If the film receives an Adapted Screenplay nomination, expect the screenwriters to get on the Oscar promotion trail. If Felix is nominated for Best Director, expect him to hit the campaign trail as well.
All talent are paid to be a part of promotions for Oscars...if you're not in contention, you aren't obligated to promote the film beyond its premiere. All cast and the director have met their obligations. Timmy will be in pursuit of his second Oscar nomination, and he and Amazon are doing EVERYTHING under the sun to get him nominated, and to turn that nomination into a well deserved WIN.
Please refrain from attacking the integrity of the cast because they are not continuing to promote the film per your expectations, they have done their job.

I just listened to this BBC radio interview with Timothée that was done on Sunday. When you click it on, it's a two hour recording, so scroll up to around the 1 hour and 7 minute mark as that will be the time the interview starts.
