Thanks for the link, Simone. I'm going to see The King next week in NYC. I can't wait!

I am going on Saturday in LA, finally! I must say I have really enjoyed the promotion tour - Timmy, David and Joel are great. Love their relationship. I'll be lost after Australia on Thursday.

Timothee is just stunning (those eyes though, dang)! "The King" promo tour has been fantastic - thanks to Netflix, Timmy, Joel, David and others.

For those going to The Landmark LA this weekend, you'll be treated with an exhibit of the actual costumes that Timmy and Lily-Rose wore in filming of The King.

After a month long world tour to promote The King, the movie opens this weekend. Surely a member of this community has/will see it and post their thoughts about the film, yes? We've been waiting so damn long for this film, I'm concerned about how passive members are, especially those who can see the movie NOW.

I promise to do a review after I see it on Netflix. I want to see it in theatres to support Timothee but it doesn't seem to be opening in theatres locally to me. So early November it is!

I saw The King earlier today in NYC. I usually don't like these type of movies because sometimes I find they can be a bit boring. But that wasn't the case here. It kept my interest throughout. And Timmy.....what can I say? He gives yet another fantastic performance. And it might sound like I'm just saying that because I'm a fan, but I'm not. lol The differences between this role and his past roles are like night and day. And yet he makes each character totally believable and adapts to each character. In my opinion that's the sign of a really great actor. If he is this great now, I can only imagine how he will be in future roles. I still think we'll see him win an Oscar someday. I am excited to see what he'll be doing next. And now for the shallow part of the review.....lol he looked simply beautiful. I'm not a fan of the bowl cut but my God......he even looked beautiful with his hair like that. There were so many gorgeous close-ups I lost count. His perfect face is so expressive that it's almost as if he doesn't have to speak. So all in all, loved it and another great performance from Timmy.

I saw The King for the second time today and I enjoyed it even more, understood the subtle political games, and came to appreciate the relationship between Hal and Falstaff. It's a really good movie and I believe it'll find a great audience on Netflix. I think The King could be an Oscar contender on technical things like sound, editing, cinematography and costume design. Timmy was so good that he deserves acknowledgment for his hard work, but I just don't know if he'll make the cut in this very, very, very competitive year. I've never seen so many great performances in Lead actor, and this year is just insane.
