Lady Jessica - Rebecca Ferguson - Timothees Mother

Ok, I am about 130 pages into "Dune" and I am impressed how big a role so far Paul Atreides mother has in the story. I am thrilled Rebecca Ferguson is playing the part. She was so wonderful in the "White Queen" a semi historical drama about the War of the Roses. I can't wait to see how her and Timothee interact in the film. I am also a big believer that women should have more meaningful and significant larger roles in science fiction and fantasy. And so far Lady Jessica is impressing me as she takes up a lot of the first part of the book. I'll have to more to say as I read more. But so far it's a fun read.

Oh yes, Rebecca was awesome as the White Queen, and when she was announced to play Jessica as I started to read Dune, I immediately started envisioning her and Timmy interacting as I read it. Love her.
