I'm mostly interested in this film, because it brings together so many high profile actors at the top of their game. I know the director Adam McKays movies are popular, but I'll say I am not as familiar with them as the films of other directors. I still have to watch the Big Short for example! Anchorman and Step Brothers are funny I remember. I'll check Dont Look Up on Netflix during the holiday season.

I'll watch it in the theater if it's released in the theaters in Budapest.

I was shocked by how much I enjoyed Don't Look Up. I'm grateful that I was able to watch it at a screening instead of just watching it at home. Like Dune, watching this film with an audience on a theater screen is mind blowing.
Here is my initial reaction review tweet, and then my full review:

For a film like this one, I care the most about how funny it is. Were there a lot of good jokes and hilarious scenes?
And about how long was Timothee in the film? With so much cast I was curious how big his role is.

I didn't see it but I've seen the script and unless they made some changes since I saw it, Timmy doesn't have that big of a role in it. He's in it more towards the end. Is that true, Simone? Or did they expand his part? I know the script is 123 pages and he doesn't appear until Page 96.

Timmy comes on well after half the film run time, but he has a vital role, very sentimental and inspirational. The film was very funny, but there are moments when you just hold your breath and watch and understand the stress that the astronomers are going through. That bathroom scene where Leo is breathing hard, that's not funny, he's having a panic attack about the dire situation he's in. Timmy does comedy well, DLU will do very well and producers will want to hire him for comedies.

Simone, it's great you enjoyed the movie. As far as I know, it'll be only on Netflix in H.

I don't know how it works as far as the length of scripts and how it translates to the length of a movie but I was surprised it's over 2 hours long. At 123 pages the script doesn't seem that lengthy to me. But as I said, I have no idea how it works. lol
