No sorry. I just saw posted what I put the link to on 1 of the Timmy Facebook groups. I don't know where it came from originally.

ok, well, as much as I would love Timmy to be there, I don't think he can make it. The production delay due to the Covid positive cast member has thrown off an already tight schedule in December, and let's not talk about the damn virus mutating making non-essential cross Atlantic traveling a burden.

Of course I'd love to see Timothee back in NYC for the holidays and at a movie premiere no less. The only way I could see that happening this week is if his part in Wonka has finished filming or he somehow got an extended break due to Thanksgiving. But because he was barely in America for Dune i doubt he will be here much for Dont Look Up. Still hmmm ... we shall see!
P.S. Another damn variant I agree grrrrr!!!. There is always going to be a new one unfortunately. I'll start panicking if it evades the vaccines.

I've seen the movie. It was good, but not so good. I mean I don't think Adam McKay's style is for me. But Timmy was great in it!

I felt the same, Teenca. It's just like A Rainy Day in NY. Woody Allen's style wasn't for me which is why I didn't like it. But agree, Timmy was the highlight for me. I just wish he'd had a bigger role.

Some people do have valid arguments that this should have been a more straight forward serious dramatic instead of a satire on such a dire issue. But I also think that McKay did the right thing in making it a satire because it's the easiest way to get more people to WATCH it. If they go into DLU as a SERIOUS film, it would be even more alarming and scary for them. With it as a satire, you are presenting the FACTS in a funny way because sadly, there are politicians who are like President Orlean, her ignorant son, and the delusional guru owner of a cell phone company who holds the fate of mankind in his hands.
