Is anyone else going to get LW on DVD/Blu-ray? I pre-ordered mine from Target. Even though I've seen it in the theater 4 times I can't wait to watch it again on Blu-ray. lol I'm especially looking forward to the extras. Hope there is some good behind the scenes stuff etc.

Yes, definitely. But I don't know when. It's not released or can be pre-ordered in Hungary, no news about it. So I am waiting.

Some people have a LOT of time on their hands during the lockdown.

Funny. I never discovered similar cases in other movies, either. My eyes can't catch them.

I'll be getting my copy of LW on Blu-ray tomorrow. Can't wait! Looking forward to seeing the extras. Too bad they didn't include outtakes. Those are always fun to see. But sounds like they have some good behind the scenes stuff included that I'm sure he'll be featured in.

It's always wonderful to hear when a good film both popular with critics and the public does so well at the box office. I loved Little Women because of the cast and setting. Timothee and Saoirse have such chemistry on screen and in reality. That breakup scene hits you hard. The romantic in me wishes they would have ended up together in the film, but I know that is not the point of the story. I also loved Florence Pugh for especially giving life and dimension to a character who is often not well liked. I have friends and family who really enjoyed Little Women as a film. I only mention that face to show how the film had broad appeal in the public. It makes sense the boxoffice results reflect its popularity. I cant wait to see what Greta Gerwig plans next. And maybe she can get a Best Director Oscar nomination this time.

The extras:
A New Generation of Little Women (12:52): A look at the source novel, crafting the story for modern audiences, Louisa May Alcott's writing and life, and a closer examination of character specifics and cast performances.
Making a Modern Classic (9:02): Exploring the collective efforts in making the movie: sets, costumes, production design, real life inspirations from Louisa May Alcott's home, the picture's cinematography and aspect ratio, and more.
Greta Gerwig: Women Making Art (9:22): A closer look at Gerwig's work on the film, including her history with and love for the source material and her own perspective on the material and how it shapes the story and the film's production.
Hair & Make-Up Test Sequence (2:58): Exploratory film footage set to rousing score.
Little Women Behind the Scenes (3:25): A quick supplement that essentially reviews the content from the other extras: the source, cast, Gerwig's direction, and more.
Orchard House, Home of Louisa May Alcott (10:07): A fascinating discussion of the author's home, work, and life with Jan Turnquist, Executive Director of Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House.
