Agreed. It would've been great at NY Film Festivals since it does take place in NYC. lol It's a real shame what happened with Woody Allen. But I still hold out hope that we'll get to see it someday.

and that there was a trial and Allen was found guilty? MAY BE YOU HAVE PROOF OF HIS GUILT?Festival class A only three(Berlin,Cannes,Venice).it is a great honor to be only there,Toronto and New York are not first class festivals.I'm sure Woody will be in VENICE.

If Woody creates a miracle and have Rainy Day premiere at Venice, he won. That is a premiere film festival. If he hadn't had all this bullshit against him, Rainy Day is the perfect film for TIFF and NYFF. We'll have to see what happens. We'll eventually see it one day. I want to see this movie SO badly! I hate that it's not being released in the US. I'd love it if someone leaked it. At least we can see it online.

If timmy nominated Oscar or Golden Globe Best Actor In Motion Picture Musical/Drama For A Rainy Day In New York...Timmy will attend the ceremony? if he win ........so what do you think?
becouse i see so many actor actress in Woody Allen movie nominated Golden Globe and Oscar and Win the Golden Globe Or Oscar or BAFTA like Diane Keaton,Diane Weist(2 times Oscar Winner in woody allen movie) michael Chaine , Mira sorvino, Penelope Cruz ,Cate Blanchett

How ironic that Woody Allen was targeted by feminists. He has written more memorable roles for women than any other director/screenwriter in New York/Hollywood.
NOT ONE ACTRESS HAS EVER COMPLAINED ABOUT INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR while working with Allen!
AMAZON should release the film; if people don't want to see it, they don't have to buy a ticket!
It's unfortunate that Timmy was caught up in this controversy. He followed Greta Gerwig's advice, rather than staying out of it.

I just think in this day and age of #MeToo, but without being convicted of a crime, Allen has been tried in the court of public outrage. Timmy did the right thing and was given the proper advice. But he should not be sorry and ashamed for working with a director who knows the life of New Yorkers more than any other director, and being a New Yorker, it was a golden opportunity for Timmy to work with Woody, and I would like to see the film. |

The trailer is cute. It's a very 'Woody Allen' type NY film, with his typical strange, neurotic characters. I'm very interested in watching it, one day.

That's the rub. With Amazon pulling the cord for the time being, and with the lawsuits, it may not screen in the states at all this year and only those in the European countries that it will be released in can see it. |
